Paula Hathaway, FRP

Criminal/Family FL Reg. Paralegal

Paula has been Philip B. Peterson’s Paralegal since 1993. She earned her AA degree in Paralegal Studies and officially became a Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar in November of 2008. She enjoys working with Phil’s clients in their family and criminal law cases, but is especially proud of the thousands of adoptions they have had the privilege of assisting with over the years, helping to be a part of making forever homes for all those families.

Carrie Taylor

Real Estate Paralegal/Office Manager

Carrie has resided in the New Smyrna/Edgewater area since 1972 and graduated from New Smyrna Beach Senior High in 1981. She has been in the real estate business for more than 25 years combining her experience and knowledge on both the title and lending side. Carrie works with her clients to ensure their closing goes smooth and efficiently. She has been with Peterson Law Group for over 5 years and heads our Real Estate Department together with being our Office Manager.

Delaney Anderson, FRP

FL. Reg. Paralegal/Accounting Specialist/ Assistant Office Manager

Delaney graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School in 2015 while also obtaining her Associate’s Degree with Dual-Enrollment at Daytona State College.  She enjoys spending time with her family and taking weekend vacations with her kids.  Delaney is a great asset to our firm. She officially became a Florida Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar in November of 2022, focusing primarily in civil litigation. She also is our Assistant Office Manager and Accounting Specialist, handling our accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other accounting and administrative projects.

Deann M Roser

Probate / FL. Reg. Paralegal

Born in Auburn, New York, Deann’s parents moved her to Florida in 1986.  Deann has three degrees: an Associate’s in Legal Secretary Studies, a Bachelor’s in Paralegal Studies and a Master’s in Criminal Justice.  She enjoys crafting and going paintballing with her family and friends.  She has had experience as a Paralegal since 2016, and has been with the firm since 2018, assisting our attorneys in the Probate Division.

Nicole McGill

Real Estate Paralegal

Nicole is originally from Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Austin Peay State University in 2018. She joined our firm when she moved to Florida in 2020 and has since brought efficiency and optimism to our team. Nicole assists our attorneys in residential real estate transactions and business transactions, where she has knowledge in title commitments and policies, loan documentation, contract agreements, and property transfers. In her free time, Nicole frequents Pilates and yoga classes, plays with her Labrador, Vader, and explores the Orlando nightlife.

Reanna Hardock

Law Clerk

Reanna Hardock was born and raised in New Smyrna Beach, Fl. After graduating NSBHS in 2009, she pursued a fashion career until returning back to New Smyrna Beach to work in education as an arts and curriculum coordinator and a teacher. She now works as our Law Clerk while finishing her J.D. at Barry University School of Law. Once she is admitted to the Bar, she plans on practicing with our law group in Family and Civil Litigation. “What, like it’s hard?”

Grace Biggs

Probate Paralegal

Grace Biggs was born and raised in the sun-drenched town of Edgewater, Florida. She is a dedicated probate paralegal known for her a knack for organization and compassionate approach to her work. She graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School in 2017, where she laid the foundation for her career with a strong academic record and a passion for legal studies. In her spare time, Grace can often be found enjoying the outdoors with her beloved dog, Nugget, exploring local parks and beaches. A hidden talent of hers is juggling, which she adeptly practices during her leisure moments, bringing both amusement and surprise to those around her. Her enthusiasm for life is infectious, whether she’s exploring nature trails, volunteering in her community, or perfecting her juggling technique. Her warm-hearted personality and commitment to her passions make her a cherished member of her community.

Noelle Policastro

Estate Planning Paralegal

Noelle Policastro was born in Ohio and relocated to Florida in 2007, where she graduated from Matanzas High School in Palm Coast in 2016. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Stetson University in 2020 and previously worked at Community Partnership for Children, assisting in securing permanency through adoption for children in foster care. Currently, Noelle is pursuing a master’s in accountancy and enjoys spending her free time contributing to her father’s 3D printing business.

Trenton Day

Civil Paralegal

Trenton was born in Daytona and raised in New Smyrna Beach. He grew up on a small farm and was completely homeschooled before attending college at the age of sixteen. He graduated from Daytona State College with an Associate of Arts degree. He took the paralegal studies course at the Daytona State College as an elective which sparked his interest in the legal field.
